Title of assignment#1: Reflection on Group work – School Leavers First Step Project
Regarding the School Leavers First step project, a group work done by analyzing and doing research that have been collect to do an event for School leavers (High School graduates) for the Marketing Principals course. I’m going to share my self-evaluation by using the Leadership, Professional and Teamwork Indicators of Success that supported me to do evaluate and understanding my skills and level of work used by the group to successfully completed the project. I think that Leadership Indicator 2: Effectively plans and organizes projects, this was one of the main indicators since I was leading the group as I was who assigning the tasks among the group. Professional Indicator 1: Improves and increases professional competency overtime, one of the important thig is to make sure your project is completed with high quality and by assuring that you need to improve your professional overtime to deliver a great project. Teamwork Indicator 1: Cooperates and assumes responsibility for individual contributions and group results. This is one of the key success of each group to understand each member of the group’s responsibility and his contributions in the group to have great results. I believe I am at the intermediate level for this project because my Leadership skills, Professional skills and Teamwork skills are important to complete the project. The requirements of the project is to create an event, you and your team need to do some research and take from the book how you can announce a big event that includes sponsors, audience and participants in success as well as we need to take a approval from PMU to conduct such event in the university. Of course we faced some issues like rejecting from other organizations but as a team we are able to successfully organized the event and completed the course.
